About Our Asset Recovery Services

We’ve all heard our parents tell us this. In dealing with Specialized Court Services, there is absolutely nothing to fear. If you give us the privilege to earn your business, we’ll prove to you the funds we’ve identified belong to you or your organization.
The phrase refers to anything owed to an individual, family, or business/organization that they are not aware of. There are a number of reasons this money is owed. Every year Specialized Court Services, through its research efforts, locates millions of dollars of dormant cash assets. In many cases, the laws regarding these funds don't require the parties holding the assets to make more than a cursory attempt at locating the beneficiary, meaning that without our research this money would go unclaimed.
It could be any number of different entities holding your assets. Once we start the recovery process we will be able to provide more specific information.
The first step is to contact our office. Once you’ve authorized us to work on your behalf and all the necessary paperwork has been completed, we immediately start the recovery process to get you paid as quickly as possible. We don’t get paid, unless you get paid.
It varies depending on the claim and also the entity holding the assets. The claims process can take as little as 2 to 3 weeks or up to a year or two. We won’t know until you’ve authorized us to start the recovery process.
Each claim is unique, and custodians are regulated by a variety of different laws. Some of the dormant assets that we locate have limited time periods in which to file a claim, and after that period has expired, they are allowed to seize the unclaimed assets. Whether there is a deadline or not, wouldn’t you prefer to have the money in your possession, especially if it’s been owed to you for several years and not earning any interest on your behalf?
You can also represent yourself in a court of law, but isn’t it wiser in the majority of circumstances to allow a professional attorney to represent you? It may be possible to claim assets on your own, but finding these assets are like ‘finding a needle in a haystack’, plus the recovery process can be very challenging and time-consuming. Most of the assets we locate are not available by searching the internet and it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be notified of their existence by the entity holding them.
